Research proves that just standing more often, and getting out of your chair frequently can do so much more for you than you realise!
There are many, many muscles at play to keep you upright that otherwise just get to slack off when you sit and every bit of extra muscle activity you can do is of course part of cheating ageing. Of course anything you do while you are up adds to the benefits, but that's a whole other post.
One great book to look out for is "Sitting kills, Moving Heals" by former NASA scientist Dr Joan Vernikos - well worth the read!
