Famed Sydney restaurant No.1 Bent St is hosting inaugural Book Series by Chef / Owner Mike. An exclusive program of bespoke dining experiences and author conversations hosted seasonally at No.1 Bent Street. Mike has teamed up with editor, author and festival curator of ‘Food and Words’, Barbara Sweeney to bring authors and their stories to the restaurant, matched with a meal by Mike.
Each dinner, Mike will create an enticing new menu that tells the story of each author, their book and food, while Barbara will lead the conversation. We want you to be inspired, enjoy a family-style meal among friends and, maybe, to learn something.
There are only 80 spots available for each evening, so don’t miss out. These dinners are going to be great fun.
About this event:
You can eat your way to a better brain says Ngaire Hobbins in her latest book, Better Brain Food. We all want to avoid dementia and stay engaged with life and Ngaire, an accredited practicing dietician with more than 30 years’ clinical experience, has all sorts of ideas for avoiding the disease, which don’t include playing Sudoku daily. Ngaire presents the science of brain health in an easily digestible way; Mike will put it on our plate.
